About Me

b. 1986, HK.

Hi!

I’m Kelsey.

I am a graduate from University of Oregon, with a Bachelor’s degree in both public relations and advertising. I am passionate about the sports and entertainment industries.

I have experience in event promotion and plan development. At the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif., I was a marketing intern. Working alongside the marketing and sales team, I assisted in the construction of marketing plans, contacting media outlets for promotion, and creating content for Instagram, Facebook, online newsletters. I gained skills in multitasking and working in high stress environments while navigating event days. Some events included a U.S. Women’s National Team soccer match, a Rolling Stones concert, a music festival, a UCLA football game, and more Rose Bowl produced events. I also oversaw the Rose Bowl Flea Market Instagram account, posting regularly and connecting with social influencers to collaborate. The account’s followers increased by over 3,000 during my three months at the internship.

I explored my interests in sports marketing while working as a Diamond Duck with the University of Oregon’s Athletic Department. I collaborated with the marketing team to develop promotional ideas for UO sporting events. My customer service skills were expanded as I worked to provide an engaging experience for fans at UO baseball games with a team of interns.

I also gained experience in public relations as a press intern at the offices of shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti in Beverly Hills, Calif. I prepared weekly press and sample activity charts through researching press. Through coordinating with other international GZ offices and celebrity stylists, I was able to gain professional communication experience over email and phone calls.
